Message from President Gerald Parkes

"This was our first Festival of Christmas Trees and it proved to be a wonderful event. Thirty different organisations entered and decorated trees all of which were individually and imaginatively designed. Thanks to all who took part in making this a magical event.

We are very grateful to the members of St. Mark's Church who hosted the Festival and made us so very welcome. Thanks also go to four choirs and the hand-bell ringers who entertained throughout the weekend.

Over the weekend visitors contributed over £1000 in support of Lindsey Lodge Hospice, - our chosen charity."
